This paper provides a critical review of recent developments in QLED technology, encompassing quantum dot materials, operational mechanics, flexible/stretchable fabrication methodologies, and patterning procedures. We highlight the emergence of diverse functionalities and applications, such as wearable optical medical devices, pressure-sensing EL devices, and neural smart EL devices. We also present a summary of the remaining challenges and a perspective on the future of flexible QLEDs' development.
